Nathalie's stand up comedy course will focus on helping students find their comedic voice through different styles of stand up comedy. Students will study the masters of the craft as well as write their own jokes about pop culture, personal experiences, and current events. The course will conclude with a one of a kind stand up comedy show for friends and family that you won't want to miss. Every student will get a live zoom performance for friends and family to watch!
Nathalie Holmes is an actress, comedian, writer, based in Los Angeles, California. You may have seen her in films such as Mr. Roosevelt, Social Animals, or Maude. Nathalie is a cast member of UCB's house sketch team, Trolley Weekend. She has also hosted red carpet premieres for the SXSW Film Festival and special events for Alamo Drafthouse in downtown LA. Her voiceover talents have been featured on NPR as well as the popular video game, DC Universe Online. As a stand-up comedian, Nathalie has opened for comics such as Nate Bargatze, Heather McDonald, and Maria Bamford. She was named “Comic of the Week” by The Jackie and Laurie Show.
