Wow! Saw you recently on your tour here in Louisville. Amazing! It was first time in seeing the show, but a friend of mine had seen it on Broadway and she was attending with me as well. She thought it was better than when she saw it in New York! You are so very talented! Thank you for sharing your talents!

Another wonderful performance last night!

And during Popular when Katie's shoe fell of and you both just acted as if it was part of the scene. Brilliant.

Hi Donna! My first ever Wicked play is coming up and I am so happy You and Katie are performing. I just fished reading the book a little while ago and immediately fell in love with it. Of course right after I got the second and third book and finished them too. After that I knew the next thing to do was see the musical, I will see you two on March, 28 2:00 at the Barbara B Mann in Fort Myers Fl, and I cannot wait! If you see a boy in the audience hyper ventilating over excitement it will most likely be me! I am Wickedly obsessed! lol

Donna Thursday, January 22, 2009 12:40
Barbara,

YOu won't be seeing me and Katie in Fort Meyers because that is the second national tour not our tour. I know it is confusing but I will be with Wicked in Portland Oregon then. Sorry about that confusion.

Donna, I recently got the chance to see you perform on Jan. 15th in Louisville and have to say you were fantastic. I bought the tickets to the show for my mother who's birthday was the day of the show. She was recently diagnosed with cancer and wanted to see Wicked. We had planned to visit New York to see it, but when I heard it would be coming to Louisville I bought the tickets right away. I had the best time and it was because of the great cast that I got to see that night (flying monkeys were a bit creepy, but he was cute when I met him without the mask lol.
Anyways, thank you for a wonderful evening. I wish you luck in your career.

Hello Donna!
I came to see Wicked in Louisville on the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 18, and I thought you were terrific! I brought my mom and little sister with me--they had never seen it--and it was so special to share the experience with them. Their expectations were far exceeded in great part to your talent. The highlight of the performance, for me, was "No Good Deed," and I was really touched during the curtain call when it was apparent how special the show is for you as well. I just wanted to give you a big hug from the entire audience! Thank-you so much!

Hello!
I attended a performance of Wicked yesterday, you were phenomenal! Your performance of "Defying Gravity" gave my attendees and I chills. I love Wicked, and I'm glad to see someone who has such a passion for music and a wonderful singing voice to be starring in it.
Cheers.

Hey Donna -
Words can't describe the feeling one is left with after experiencing your performance in "Wicked". I am a Louisville native and a music (piano) instructor/performer. Besides giving you my highest compliments on your vocal performance and stage presence, I think it's your emotions and obvious love for what you do that make you such a special person. Those emotions are so contagious to us, the audience, and completely draw us even more into your world. On the curtain call this afternoon your emotions were so heartwarming. I'm sure for you it is always a very surreal moment. Thanks for taking the time to hear me blab on. I just know that so much of our time, blood, sweat and tears go into this thing they call "the arts", that sometimes it's nice to hear a simple "thanks for doing what you do." It is something I will not soon forget.

Donna, I just wanted to say how much I LOVED your performance as Elphaba in Wicked! My friend and I have been trying to see the show for a couple of years now and I finally got tickets for Christmas this year. You were amazing, and I enjoyed it SO much! Good luck in everything that you do and thank you for giving such a commanding and enjoyable performance! I hope to see many other things you are performing in! :)

group of friends and I saw you at the DOA in December. Our seats were 6 rows from the top and you commanded that space!
I am a mom of two and I work for a small tha. co. I think I will live vicariously through you as I know you will continue to do great things!
I sing castle on a cloud to my younger son every night. What was it like to work w/Colm Wilkinson?

Hope I haven't double posted!

I saw Wicked here on Jan. 10 and was so impressed I'm seeing it again on Jan. 22. I was literally left speechless after Defying Gravity and anyone who knows me can attest to what a feat that is. lol Wicked has now becaome my favorite musical vaulting past Phantom and Miss Saigon.

A question if you get the chance to respond. Will you be Elphaba when Wicked is in Jacksonville, FL in April? I was so impressed with your performance (as well as that of Katie Rose Clarke) that my parents immediately bought tickets for the show while it is there.

Donna Sunday, January 18, 2009 00:42
Bill,

There are two touring companies in the US. The company going to Jacksonville, FL is not the company I am in (The First National -- TOUR ONE) so you will not be seeing me and Katie but I can assure you it will still be a great show!

Hi! (I posted on your guestbook a little while back...)

I saw Wicked in Detroit in December and was blown away by your voice and obvious passion for acting and singing..can't stop listening to the soundtrack, but I wish it was your voice on it!!! frown I noticed that Wicked is coming to Indianapolis in June. Will you be in that performance? Or is that part of the second tour? Thanks!

Donna Saturday, January 17, 2009 09:26
Indianapolis is a stop on the second national tour. Sure to be a crowd pleasing company as well though!

Hello Donna,
I'm so excited to see you! I've wanted to see Wicked for a while now and I will be going to Louisville, KY on Sunday Feb 1st to see the last show at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. It's also very special to me because I will be bringing my 11yr old son who has been begging me to see Wicked for a year now. This is his FIRST big theater experience and he is SO excited. We've been listening to the Soundtrack for a couple of weeks now. A couple of friends saw it last week and said it was incredible and I've read glowing reviews about you. I'm thrilled to be taking my son to this particular show. I want him to love theater as much as I do and appreciate all the work and talent that it takes to do a big production like this. His name is Marc Andry and we will be at the 6:30pm showing on Superbowl Sunday. I would love for him to meet you if that was even possible... you just don't know how excited he is... but we do want to wish you Good Luck and we are looking forward to your performance.

Great! Lynn's a long-time friend who's a true Renaissance woman - her restaurant is legendary and has had reviews from all over the world..we even had a throw-down with Bobby Flay last year! There's often a wait on the weekends, but I noticed you said your mom was coming to the show, so you may want to treat her to a fun meal! If you try to go on the weekend, make sure you call ahead to 583-EGGS and tell them you're with Wicked - they'll give you VIP seating. Ask for any of the managers - usually Liz or Mike - and tell 'em Tara Bassett told you to call. They'll be very accomodating. :)

Miss Donna: had box seats to see "Wicked" for the first time last Friday night here in Louisville - then heard about and attended your fabulous cabaret Monday night. (Thank you for doing that!) We had to go see the show again, just to absorb it all, so we got rush seats for tonight. You know it was even better from the orchestra level? You inhabit the role to the max, and give Elphaba the TLC she deserves! You and Katie Rose and the rest of the talented cast just have extended our limited entertainment dollars to UNLIMITED status, and we're grateful! Bless all of you for coming back show after show and making it fresh and honest. And if you haven't done so yet, make sure you visit Lynn's Paradise Cafe while you're in town - it's a local favorite breakfast restaurant!
Best to you on the rest of your tour!
Tara

Tara!
Thank you for writing! ANd thanks for coming back to the show! It is so funny. My dresser was just telling me TONIGHT to go to Lynn's. It is most certainly on my itinerary while I am here!

Saw you last night in Wicked. It was my second time seeing the show (first in Chicago). It was just as good the second time and the cast was great. Please pass on my complements and thanks for a wonderful performance to the whole cast. I hope to see you again in another show or even Wicked again if I happen to be traveling to its next location.

Donna Wednesday, January 14, 2009 13:55
Orval,

If you saw the show last night (Tuesday night) I was out sick. But I will everyone who was on know you enjoyed the show...but that wasn't me as Elphaba!

It was about a year ago. I was lucky enough to be at your very first performace as Elphaba. You became my favorite Elphaba. I emailed you to tell you this and to my suprise, you wrote back! I have come back to REask the question I asked over a year ago...When can I buy your CD? I am sill first in line!

DOnna Thursday, January 15, 2009 00:18
Nikki,

I don't have a CD yet but as soon as I do I will be sure to let you know. Being out on the road it is hard to organize and record a CD so maybe once I am done with WICKED I will have the time!

Hope all is well.
