Donna,
I just purchased tickets to see you in Rochester for a friend's birthday. We'll be making the 6 hour drive on April 17. I hope you can confirm that you'll be playing the role on that date (unless you get sick and such). I truly think you are the best vocalist currently playing Elphaba. I look forward to seeing you again! |

Hello Donna,
Really enjoyed your performance in Tampa. You have new fans, Saw you once and Meridith twice during the run. It appears from your comments that you are leaving the Wicked tour this Summer. Any hints at where we can see you after that? Continued success! |

Hi Donna. Happy Belated Birthday. I saw the show last sunday and was totally amazed at your performance. You are by far the best elphaba the company has ever had. The show would not be the same without you.

Hey Donna!
You are an absolutely fantastic Elphaba! I saw you perform in Providence on December 30. I'm still listening to the soundtrack daily! Your voice is incredible and my experience with Wicked is the single MOST AMAZING experience I have ever had with anything, by which I mean everything I've ever experienced outside of the theatre as well. You are such an inspiration. Since your performance, I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head that I want to be on that stage as Elphaba someday. More than anything. We'll see how the small-town girl does I guess! Sorry for the long message. This is the last of it I promise! When you say that we can send you a SASE if we would like an autograph, is the address you refer to this one? Donna Vivino c/o Wicked Tour 321 W.44th St. 8th floor NY NY 10036 Also, should we include a note saying that we would like an autograph? Thank you for being such an inspiration. I hope that some day I can be where you are! Hayley

Your performance as Elphaba was absolutely amazing! I nearly cried when you sang Defying Gravity. How long will you be starring in Wicked? I know the show is coming to Orlando, Florida this time next year - but I won't bother seeing it if you won't be there. Hope the rest of your tour goes well. And, Happy Belated Birthday!

Hello Donna! i want to start off by saying that i never knew i would admire the wicked witch of the west. she used to give me crazy nightmares when i was younger. Even though i was obsessed with the wizard of oz to the extent where i would sing "somewhere over the rainbow" for the people in dunkin donuts and i belived every road led to the yellow brick road. Anyway, i saw you at PPAC a while ago and your performance left me speechless. you are my ROLE MODEL and i hope to follow in your footsteps!

Hi Donna! My name is Madison and I saw you play Elphaba in RI in December, you were the first Elphaba I ever saw and I was blown away. You were absolutely amazing! I do theatre and singing as well and its my dream to be in Wicked someday. I just wanted to ask you a quick question. I'm 16 and my voice is still quiet and young-sounding. Do you think by the time I'm older it will be more developed and louder? I hope you have the time to answer and keep up the great work with Wicked! Thank you for your time. (:
-Madison.

Dear Donna,
For my 18th bday last Thursday, my mother took me to go see Wicked. I loved it! It was really inspiring, I have read the books and had been curious to see what the show was like and I have to say I think I really liked the show more hahaha. Anyway, you have a really powerful voice, I had been in chorus since I was in kindergarten but due to switching to a public school during the 8th grade that has no chorus I have been out of touch with singing. Once I get a job and go on off to college I will get a voice coach to help me out again, but in the meantime are there any tips you can give me about getting my voice back in shape? You are a terrific Elphaba, loved the show! -Bianca =D

Dear Donna,
It’s Jared again. I hope you are well and having fun on tour. Unfortunately, I wont be able to see you as Elphie. As sad as this is, maybe I can see you in another project! Anyways, I don’t know what you plan to do with your props like your witch hat, dress, etc. But I was thinking about the saying “One’s trash is another person’s treasure”. So, I got an idea. Its ridiculous to ask, but I have to. I was wondering when you are done as Elphie if you could send me your witch hat used in WICKED. My friend asked Ms. Julie Reiber the same question and she said it was okay and gave it to him. I know the rules differ with each cast, but if you agree I will be happy to pay the shipping. Also, if you say yes, I will email you my address. I don’t feel comfortable putting on your guestbook. Anyways, I really hope you agree! Looking forward to your reply. Thanks for reading. Keep on rockin’! Much love, Jared Parsons

Donna,
My wife & I saw you in wicked in Tampa. I was abolutely mesmorized by your voice. As you well know, it's hard to control a vibrato in low notes. You handled it superbly. Thanks for a wonderful performance. The thing that made the show for me outside of your beauty and wonderful acting is your voice. We go to shows in New York quite a bit. You would shine above the rest. Our friends who saw the show with us wanted to go again the next night to see you in the same role. Thank you for an evening that will be remembered for a very, very long time....Regards, Dean |

Donna, we saw you in Wicked....San Diego this past year. We have seen it 2 other times in San Francisco. You ABSOLUTELY captivated everyone and everything. What an incredible performance, as you brought your character to life. You are the Best. My wife & I think You are a National Treasure.

Saw Wicked last night. You were incredible, and that is not a word I use lightly. The last singer to whom I called "BRAVA" was Judy Garland! The last performers to enthrall me to the point I lost track of who and where I was were The Roches. Many thanks to you and Chandra for doing so last night. I hope your career sucessfully reflects your great talent.

I first want to thank you for taking the time to read this. My daughter Melania, who is only 4, is a big fan of musical theatre, especially Wicked. She listens to the soundtrack daily and serenades us with Defying Gravity and the Wizard and I. As a surprise, we got her tickets to see the March 7th matinee performance in Miami. I know hundreds of people must ask you this, but is there any way that she could come backstage to just briefly see you and get a picture with you while you are still in costume? You see, she still believes Elphaba is real and to actually see her in person would be so special for her. I would appreciate it more than you know. I realize you are very limited on your time but it would make a little girl's dream come true.
Thank you for your time. we look forward to seeing you in March.
